The Burnaby Barons won it all in 2004, winning the 50-and-over division men's provincial and national slo-pitch baseball championships in Newfoundland that year. The slo-pitch team won two provincial and national qualifying tournaments that year.
The Barons were also the Burnaby men's open league A-division playoff champions, as well as winners at the Al Sorenson memorial 30-and-under tournament in Abbotsford and a 40-and-under invitational competition at South Memorial park in Vancouver. The Barons were the first team to be inducted into the Slo-Pitch National B.C. hall of honour in 2001.
