Induction Banquet:

January 21, 2010

The Banquet offers a entertaining evening with some of Burnaby's finest Athletes, Builders, Coaches, and Sports Teams. A scrumptious buffet dinner is provided, along with all the trimmings and special bottles of Burnaby Sports Hall of Fame wine, white and red. Bar service is very reasonably priced as well. The beverage service begins at 6 p.m..

A Silent Auction is run concurrently and offers many items at ridiculous low prices. In past years, items ranged from boat cruises to sports memorabilia. Don't miss this - It's prefect for the special bargain you might find. Bring your cheque book or cash. At present, we do not accept credit cards.

Ticket prices are $75, and for past inductees, $45.

Tom Berridge, former basketball player with the Point Grey Greyhounds, and Rotunda Magus, former cheerleader, sell draw tickets by the "arms length". (Now that's a real "arms" length!). He was able to dunk the ball without even jumping. But he hoops were only 8' at that time.
