Don Berry: A graduate of Burnaby South Secondary, he was extremely active in Burnaby minor hockey, coaching the Burnaby Winter Club to the B.C. Peewee title in 1972-73; the Midget AAA team to the provincial title in 1973-74, a team that won the bronze medal at the prestigious Air Canada Championship that year; in 1982-83 coached Abbotsford Flyers to the provincial and Western Canada junior titles; was awarded the BCAHA Coaching Award and then returned to assist with Coaching Program at Burnaby Winter Club. |

Jerry Dugger: Involved in Burnaby minor softball for the past 38 years; conducts a softball clinic each spring for Burnaby coaches; has coached in the Mite to Junior age categories in Burnaby; over past eight seasons his teams have won two national championships, four Provincial Championships, and two silver medals as well as a host of national age group championships over the years; he is truly Mr. Burnaby Softball and was a founding member of the Burnaby Minor Softball Association. |

Don Steen: Outstanding athlete graduate of Burnaby South Secondary; first track and field coach at Simon Fraser University; founding member and president of Canadian track and field Coaches Association; currently national athletics coach responsible for athlete development for Canada's elite blind and visually impaired athletes; one of three athletic coaches Canadian team 1972 Olympics; Canadian athletics coach Canadian Paralympic teams on four occasions; has coached four national blind athletes to Canadian and international titles. |
