Soccer

Ron Loland: Founding member and President of Swangard Stadium Society, spearheading a campaign that raised more than $3 million for installation of bleachers, are furbished track surface and other improvements. President and GM Westburn Soccer Club for 22 years. Founding director of professional Vancouver 86ers soccer club. Founding director Kensington Soccer Society and has acted as President from 1994 to present. Named Burnaby's Sports Builder of the Year in 1992.

Boxing

Al Principe: Promoted professional and amateur boxing cards in the Lower Mainland for 70 years. Responsible for bringing a host of world champions to Vancouver and bringing closed circuit TV fights to the area.Helped the sport grow by establishing the Astoria Boxing Club and the B.C. Amateur Boxing Association. Honoured by the B.C. Amateur body in 1976 for Outstanding Achievement.

Soccer

Mark Stockdale: Spent 40 years as a director, 17 as President, of Cliff Avenue United soccer organization. One of five individuals who build the soccer exchange between B.C., Washington and Oregon into the largest such athletic venture in the world. Founding member of four soccer and field hockey leagues. He coached at all levels and took Cliff Avenue to three Division One titles at the prestigious Sun Soccer Tournament of Champions.Life member of the B.C. and Burnaby Juvenile Soccer Associations.
